Home Missionary Application

Home Missionary is a suitably qualified and accredited man who is not a minister, licentiate or candidate for the ministry who may be appointed by a presbytery to a Home Mission Charge for leadership in gospel ministry and mission as part of the home mission program (PCV Code rule 4.73).

Home Missionaries, working under a Moderator and a Session:

  1. Provide ministry of the Word and pastoral support to Home Mission Charges.

  2. Strive to develop the Home Mission Charge to the point where it may be declared by the

  3. Presbytery to be an Appointment Charge.
